Last year, the Wisconsin Bakers Foundation started a statewide initiative for Pi day in response to the war in Ukraine. Bakers throughout the state came together and raised funds for the Salvation Army to help support the people of Ukraine. The statewide power of the Pi for Peace fundraiser had a global impact.

To continue this tradition for Pi day moving forward, the Foundation chose the World Central Kitchen for this year's Pi Day fundraiser recipient. They are front line responders, providing food throughout the world. For example, currently, they are focusing on the after affects of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria, but whenever, there is a global emergency you will find World Central Kitchen at the front lines cooking for people.

The very heart of our organization is in feeding people and providing comfort through food is what we do as bakers.

Please join us this year in whatever capacity you would like. Each baker is making a decision on their own of what amount of proceeds would go to the organization, you can sell whatever items you want, etc. just like we did last year.
