Wisconsin Bakers Association’s Purpose
The purpose of this
Association shall be to promote and protect the welfare of its
members -
a) By developing and
advancing the
Baking Industry in Wisconsin and in Upper Michigan;
b) By monitoring U.S. and
state laws, regulations, rules, standards and best practices
relating to the Baking Industry in the areas of improving hygiene
of a Bakery and reducing health risks for Baking Industry workers
and consumers of products made by the Baking Industry;
c)
By encouraging legislation proper
for and beneficial to the Baking Industry and discouraging
legislation harmful to and unsound for the Baking Industry;
d) By securing the
fullest recognition of high standards in every phase of the Baking
Industry;
e) By influencing
intelligent understanding within and beyond the membership for a
better relationship between the Baking Industry and the public;
and,
f) By engaging in such
other activities as may be considered appropriate for and incident
to trade associations.
